Color Dare #29 with a Sunday Stamps Sketch

This week's Color My Heart Color Dare #29 challenge is to use Blush and Cranberry and since Valentine's Day is next week I couldn't resist making yet another Valentine's Day card with these colors.  I followed the Sunday Stamps#34 sketch and used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the heart label and it's mat (pg.37, shape 7 blush at 2.5" and decorative layer shift cranberry at 2.5").  The patterned paper is also from Close To My Heart--one of the first 8.5 x 11 packages of B&T paper with the new logo--circa 1996!  I used a Blush marker to color the inside of the hearts and used Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel to accent the red dots on the patterned paper.  There is a piece of Silver Shimmer Trim (adhesive backed ribbon) between the two frames.  The cranberry frame has 2 small dots of Silver Glitz Glitter Gel at its center.

Here is the Sunday Stamps Sketch #34:

Be sure to see what the rest of the design team has for you this week and join us for this easy challenge--you'll want to make at least one Valentine Card--won't you?  If you don't have these Close To My Heart colors you can substitute something similar.  Hope to see you at the Color Dare this week!  (Please link back to Color Dare #29 and include the picture above in your post if you do join in on the fun.)

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Fantabulous Cricut #147--Queen of Hearts
Simon Says--Have a Heart
Top Tip Tuesday--Sweetheart
Sunny Challenges--Love is in the Air

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a fun week filled with fun and creativity!
:) Marie

Simple and sweet, with impressive use of the Cricut Artiste cartridge--perfect for Valentine's Day. Wow--you have paper in your stash from 1996!!?? (I'm just jealous!) It all gets used up eventually, right!? ;)
